FunQuilts Patterns and Kits are printed in full color will step-by-step directions, detailed illustrations and show color variations. We created these quilts using RJR Fabric's Cotton Supreme solids but they also work wonderfully with prints. The patterns include instructions for napping size (approximately 48'' x 74'') and queen size. The kits include the pattern and yardage of RJR Solids as shown on the patterns below for the front and binding. Backing and batting are not included. Shipping for 1-3 patterns is $3 for 4-9 $5. This quilt in elegant in solids but can also be made in a scrappy style using small-scale, tone-on-tone prints. Clear instructions for cutting and pinning will have you piecing curves confidently in no time. The blocks are large so the piecing goes quickly.

Even beginning quilters can master curved piecing in this simple yet sophisticated pattern. With large pieces the top comes together quickly. The pieced binding makes even the finishing fun. Raindrops lends itself to a broad range of color variations. Solids or monochromatic tone-on-tone prints work best.

The simplicity of this design suits a wide range of fabrics. It’s perfect for solids but would also be fun with small-scale novelty prints, sophisticated with batiks and homey with calicos, stripes, plaids or yarn-dyes. This pattern is fat-quarter friendly.
